making cookies

By all accounts I am not a baker....at all I don't like to measure but Parker wanted to make ginger bread cookies and decorate them, (he is into gingerbread men right now...no idea why) so I bought the ready made dough and thought we would give it a try.  It was a lot of fun and the whole family participated.  Well Ella got her first candy cane to keep her busy, which was a lot of fun to watch.  The cookies actually turned out really well, daddy and Parker went way over board with the decorating ...mine were the only nicely decorated ones.   I am pretty sure that daddy had as much if not more fun then Parker did.  I think this will become something we do every year
